We do this through weekly discipleship groups, monthly gatherings, and intentional getaways. What sets Armada apart is a deep commitment to life-on-life discipleship; living life together just like Jesus did - showing up for one another with truth, love, consistency, and grit. We believe spiritual formation isn’t limited to church on Sundays; it happens in living rooms, around fire pits, over meals, and through unique shared experiences.

While many churches are doing meaningful and important work, we couldn’t ignore the growing number of men who feel spiritually adrift - isolated, under challenged, and missing the kind of brotherhood that calls them into maturity and mission.

We sensed a need for something deeper; a more intentional form of discipleship - one that’s rooted in relationships, grounded in the gospel, and built to last. Not just another short-term class or 10-week course, but a long-term commitment to becoming more like Jesus together.

The spark was lit during a drive out to a friend’s hunting ranch in early 2024 - just three buddies reflecting on how discipleship has deeply shaped our own faith journeys. What followed were simple, honest, and prayerful conversations over dinners, filled with both conviction and vision.  We weren’t looking to launch a program or create another system.  We wanted to get back to the model Jesus gave us - organic, life-on-life, relational discipleship that leads to deep rooted faith and maturity.

In May 2024, the vision took shape - 25 men gathered in a living room and mutually challenged each other to step into discipleship with purpose and brotherhood.  To commit to it not just for a season, but the rest of our lives.  Since then, we have seen the hunger for discipleship grow among men of all ages and all backgrounds.  We have watched God capture the hearts of men.  One by one.  Life by life.
